Give your tired and sore eyes a boost.
Let me introduce you to Eye Yoga - a simple practice that lets your eyes know that you care about them.
These eye exercises are important in maintaining muscle health and clarity of vision. When we spend so much of the day staring into a screen without looking up and around we weaken the eye muscles. Do this often enough and your vision will begin to deteriorate. So take a break right now and help your eyes out.
It can be perfectly normal to feel a little discomfort when you first begin this - just like you would when you first exercise any part of your body you are not used to moving. This will pass. However, if you feel pain or dizziness then please stop.
Every Ten Minute Miracle practice is designed to help you re-set, unwind and reduce stress in 10 minutes or less. So there's no excuse - you can fit this into your day. (This one is only 6 minutes long).
Eye exercises help to keep the muscles of your eyes engaged and healthy. Focusing on items close up, in the distance, and from side to side gives the eyes a much needed workout. Our eyes are one of the first organs to deteriorate as we age. A regular practice of eye exercises can help to maintain clarity of vision.
If anyone has those pin-hole glasses stashed away in a drawer, get them out as these also help to strengthen the eye muscles - just don't wear them whilst driving or out walking!
