Feel calm and grounded!

Let me introduce you to Moon Breaths - a pranayama practice where we gently block the right nostril and then take long, slow inhales and exhales through the left nostril.  This breath is a Nadhi Shodhana where each round is through the left nostril. 

Moon breath relates to ida nadi which is our feminine channel.  (Nadi is the Sanskrit word for a channel or tube.  Ida is one of three important channels in the body).

Every Ten Minute Miracle practice is designed to help you re-set, unwind and reduce stress in 10 minutes or less.  So there's no excuse - you can fit this into your day. (This one is only 5 minutes long).


When ida nadi is activated, as it is during Moon Breaths, we experience a cooling and calming effect.  As this breath cools us it creates peaceful energy in the body and helps us to feel grounded. This breath can help to relieve heat from hot flushes or from stress, keeping you cool, calm and collected.  On a physical level this breath helps to stretch the spine due to our upright posture and the focused breath expanding and contracting the body.
